This collection is exclusively made by Rosa and by her mother and sisters, who live in the San Andrés Larráinzar community near San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas. Batsi Luch means "women that weave" in tzotzil language. This collection was named in honor of Rosa, a wonderful woman who has dedicated her life to weaving by hand in a backstrap loom. When we first met her, we asked her what name would she give to her collection, and she gave us this name. We promised her we would honor her wishes.
